Joe and Anna Weston are still reeling from Joe’s diagnosis of Huntington’s disease – a degenerative neurological disease with no treatment and no cure – when their lives are rocked again: Anna’s niece, university student Maddy Farrelly, announces she is pregnant.
Maddy’s shock news exposes deeply hidden wounds between Anna and Joe, and their marriage teeters, just when they need each other most.
As their estrangement grows, and with time running out for Maddy to decide about her pregnancy, Joe is forced to reveal a secret that could have catastrophic consequences for all of them.
