Jumping for Joy

Colourful spooky looking marionettes hanging on a wall

The sequel to The Other Side of Freedom, which grew from my short story Trap.

Erin Hopper wants to make people happy – but who’d take the chance on a middle-aged woman whose recent past includes allegations of murder, kidnap and the mystery of her missing ex-husband?

By chance Erin lands a job at Well Wishes, the little charity with the big heart that helps elderly adventurers to enjoy one last hurrah while they still can.

Erin’s first ‘assignment’ is Joy, whose dying wish is to dress up and make a lifechanging statement on her 90th birthday. Live on TV.

But will Joy’s dream do more harm than good?
