Love, Sex & Death

A cautionary tale

Dimly lit restaurant with empty tables and a bar in the background

Dark humour, first person, and a very different voice (for me). Late 2026?

Reluctant waitress Pinky Thomas is fantasising about a new life when her childhood sweetheart, Jaxn-Tyler Jones, turns up with some bad, bad news. His boss, the Big Guy, wants Pinky dead, and he’s ordered Jax to do the job to repay a debt. If he fails, he’ll be in big trouble.

But Pinky isn’t ready to go.

Taking a punt on the desperate look in her ex’s eye, she strikes a deal: Jax can have a crack at bumping her off – but not until she completes everything on her rapidly-expanding To Do list.
