The Dead Parents Tour
These characters are seeking attention! I keep a notebook for them by my side.
When eight strangers are thrown together at a government-funded Good Mourning bereavement group, they rebel against Pat their pale, pasty course facilitator and decide to manage their own ‘healing journey’. They hire a mini bus, choose a new leader, and take to the road, where the layers of their lives and fears peel back with each passing mile.
As the unlikely companions wend their way through southern Queensland, and the seven stages of grieving, they must face old ghosts and new futures – and navigate the distressing secret hidden by one of their own.
